We're in Texas Hill Country, so what better way to celebrate our heritage other than a good 'ole costume contest between the cowboys and cowgirls?
The inaugural Goat Couture™ '23 fashion show will bring this fun to the stage as community members parade their goats through the Ranch Park arena in the cowboy or cowgirl costume.
WHAT IS Goat Couture™?
Goat Couture™ 2023, produced by LOOMC Charities, Inc. and headline sponsored by The Law Office of Milena Christopher, will be the first of many events to come organized by our team but meant to bring entertainment to our central Texas communities and raising needed funds for local charities. This year we've decided to fundraise for the six FFA chapters in Blanco and Hays counties - Wimberley High School FFA, Jack C Hays High School FFA, San Marcos High School FFA, Blanco High School FFA, Lehman High School FFA, and Dripping Springs High School FFA.
On September 9, 2023, we expect plenty of excited participants to sashay with their goat across the Ranch Park arena showcasing their fantastically dressed Cowboy or Cowgirl dressed goat. Contestants will compete for prizes and bragging rights. It gets better... if your goat is voted Best in Show, he/she will have bragging rights and be featured in all our marketing literature for the 2024 Goat Couture™!
Milena Christopher decided to bring this evolved concept of a goat fashion show back from a happy experience in San Francisco, where they put on a similar event featuring local celebrities and politicians dressing their goats. With our incredible history and hospitable environment for goats, Milena knew she must make this happen locally.

Community members, whether they plan to showcase their goat on September 9th, are invited to share photos of their goats in costume by either emailing or posting on our Facebook page.
